“Trick or treat” it is what all the children say at every door as they go from house to house, hoping to collect as much candy as possible.
It’s Halloween night, the night of October 31. It is a typical Anglo-Saxon Festival that has its origins in the Celtic tradition. It was considered the last summer night and the when the souls of the dead coming back to Earth to visit the living together with witches and ghosts. That’s why that night you meet many little witches and ghosts, but also little Dracula and skeletons. In recent years this Festival is celebrated also here and in shops and supermarkets you can find both the tipical costumes and candies.
This week I propose 2 themed cookie recipes, simple and easy decorations and a menu for children to celebrate this night a bit magic and a scary.
And then, trick or treat?
