ingredients:
- 170 gr all purpose flour;
- 50 gr corn starch;
- 125 gr cold butter;
- 100 gr caster sugar;
- 1 pinch of salt;
- 1/2 tsp baking ammonia;
- 25 gr toasted almonds ;
- 20 gr unsweetened cocoa;
- 1 tsp chili;
- 30 gr lukewarm water.
Let’s knead!
- toast the almonds, already chopped, in a non-stick pan for about 10 minutes, but pay attention to toast them without burn them;
- when ready, remove them from the pan and let them cool down;
- with a blender whisk the sugar with butter till when the mixture will be fluffy, then add thr flour, salt, corn starch and baking ammonia dissolved in lukewarm water, and mix everything;
- add the almonds and cocoa and mix again;
- at the end add the chopped chili and mix very well;
- with the dough form a cylinder of approximately 4 cmm diameter, cover with a film and put it in the fridge for a couple of hours;
- cut the dough into slices half a cm thick, put the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
