Last night while I was running in the park the attention was drawn to something red that stood out in the meadow: a wild strawberry. Do you know it? Those who go to the mountain in summer and have fun gathering berries, know it for sure. They are small and red fruits that resemble the delicious wild strawberries, but that are another story. The differences between the two fruits are many starting from the flower: that of wild strawberries is yellow and facing upwards, that of the strawberry of the forest is white and facing downwards. The shape: the wild strawberries have a conical shape and are covered with golden seeds, the wild ones are more spherical and have small bumps of the same color of the fruit. The wild strawberries then hang from their stems as if they were hanging, while the wild ones are above the stem and are facing upwards. And last thing, if you still have doubts, crushing them slightly between the fingers: from the wild strawberries will come out a fragrant and reddish juice, while from the wild ones will come out a drop of transparent water. Well, at this point if you want to make a tart of wild strawberries you are informed enough to pick up the right fruits!
