It looks like the usual focaccia, but it is not. It’s a sweet focaccia, good and perfect for breakfast and for a snack. You can eat it plain or stuffed with jam. It is soft and tasty and I am sure that if you prepare it, it will finish in a second as mine!
I would like to explain how I came up with the idea of preparing this recipe. Carnival is coming and as I already did in the past, I thought of preparing something tasty for children, but also for adults, which is tasty as well as a joke suitable for the occasion. So thinking about what you can offer as an aperitif or appetizer, I came up with a plate of focaccia with sausages, but to make a joke the sausages must be chocolate sausages like those I prepared for the Epifany and the focaccia must be sweet.
The quantity is right for a rectangular pan or for a 28 cm round pan. Some advice: the water and milk must be lukewarm, but not hot otherwise they would prevent the yeast from rising. For the yeast I used the dry one, if you want you can choose the fresh one using little more than half dice. Among the ingredients I suggest 120 gr of water but it is indicative, add it a spoon at a time till when the dough is soft and smooth and slightly sticky. The dough should be left to rest in the oven switched off, I usually put it in the oven off. In this way I keep the temperature constant. One last thing: for cooking put the pan on the lower shelf of the oven.
At this point I think I told you everything, only the ingredients and the video to see how I did it are missing.
