Vanille kipferl: do you know them? They are traditional Christmas cookies. They are friable biscuits made by almond flour and lots of butter. Yummy! You have to bake them for about 15 minutes, but be careful not to color them too much. You have to leave the dough to rest for at least an hour in the fridge and use it when it is cold.
But let’s see how I made them.
Ingredients:
- 300 gr flour;
- 80 gr sugar;
- 175 gr cold butter;
- 2 egg yolk;
- 100 gr almond flour;
- 1/4 tsp bourbon vanilla;
- 100 gr icing sugar.
