What’s better than sweet little ghosts to decorate the Halloween table? They are small cake pops covered with sugar paste. Cake pops are little cakes made of crumbled cake mixed with mascarpone or other soft cheese, nutella, melted marshmellow or jam. The dough you get is very malleable and you can shape it as you prefer and then cover it with chocolate or sugar paste. You could use cakes such as sponge cake, margherita cake, donut or chocolate cake are suitable. For the ghosts I used a chocolate cake mixed with jam But let’s see how I made it:
Ingredients:
- 250 gr of chocolate cake;
- 3 teaspoons of apricot jam;
- a piece of white sugar paste;
- powdered sugar;
- sticks for food.
