It is konwn that fruit peel should Always be eaten as it contains important elements for our body such as vitamins and minerals. This also happens for the pumpkin of which both the peel and the seeds can be usedin various prepartions such as bread, sweets or sauces. They contain selenium, zinc and magnesium and help to keep the cholesterol low in blood. You can bake them in the traditional oven, in the microwave oven or pan. Before baking, the seeds you have to clean them from all filaments, wash them under running water and dried them. At this point you can cook them. In the traditional oven: place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper and season with some oil and salt and cook at medium temperature (150°) for about 45 to 50 minutes. In a microwave oven: place them in a pan appropriate for microwave cooking and season with oil. Bake the seeds at maximum temperature for 2 minutes. Mix them and bake again for 2 minutes Repeat the operation for 2 more times until the seeds are crispy.
I cooked them in a pan for about 45 minutes in low-heat, covered. Use larger and more fleshy seeds to get more satisfaction.

Pumpkin skin can be used as well in salty or sweet preparations. You could add them to the vegetabls soup or bake them with other vegetables or, again, used as filling for yummy dumplings. In sweet preparations can be add to muffins, cookies or creams. I used them for a sweet cream prtfrc with chocolate cake.
