After graduating from the University of Milan Bicocca in Biology, I later obtained a Master’s Degree specializing in Human Nutrition at the University of Pavia.
I currently freelance in Varese and Milan and work at a clinic-accredited private facility in the province of Varese.
My personal conviction is that no food eaten within a properly balance diet deserves to be ousted or feared. I’ve derived this based on my work experience and through comparisons of various problems related to eating habits.
It was for this reason when Patrizia, the passionate cookie baker, asked me to consult in her blog by including brief comments on her recipes that I gladly accepted because the correct information on the use of the ingredients in a food can improve the food quality of our lives everyday.
Cookies in their many forms are not only a “sweet habit”, but they are a food that can regularly accompany our daily eating habits. They can be consumed in a good breakfast, or eaten during our morning or afternoon snacks to break up the day.
For years the Mediterranean diet has been listed on World Heritage Sites and the consumption of sweets is expected but without exaggeration. It is even so much better if the dessert is prepared at home with healthy ingredients and controlled.
Happy conscious eating!
