Some time ago while I wa putting in order my cookbooks, I fond an old one that belonged to my grandma. I has non cover and it is wraped in a light brown cardboard. It losted the first pages as well as part of the index. For years I could not figure out which book it was. Then 2 years ago, finding it, I wrote on the internet a few sentences of a recipe and …. it was the “Science in the kitchen and the art of eating well” by Pellegrino Artusi. “. The recipe is very simple, the biscuits are crisp and perfect for breakfast or tea time, but what I found really Amazing was the presentation of cookies: “They are cheap cookies, easy to make and not without of some merit, because they can serve both for the tea and for any other liquid, soaking in marvel. ”
