For this recipe you have to use a blender. I used Bimby. Take note that my Bimby is quite “dated”, I had it in my house since 1988!
Ingredients:
- 130 grams of boiled and peeled chestnuts;
- 100 grams of boiled black beans;
- 20 grams of corn starch;
- 50 grams of brown sugar;
- 40 g of soybean oil;
- 1/2 tsp ammonia for cakes;
Let’s knead!
- put in the chestnuts and black beans in the blender and blend for 3 or 4 minutes at maximum speed (for my Bimby speed 12);
- add corn starch, sugar and ammonia, and blend for 1 minute at high speed (always 12 for Bimby);
- last add oil and blend for 2 minutes at high speed;
- put the dough by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper;
- bake at 180 ° for 20 – 25 minutes,
How to cook blacks beans: the best thing is to soak them in water over the night, rinse and boil them in a pot, covered by 2 or 3 cm of water, for about an hour or two, over low heat. Take note: if you use them for making my exact recipe, don’t salt them, if you want a salty version, add salt only at the end of cooking.
